Toolbars
A toolbar contains buttons that allow you to perform tasks more quickly. When you click a button, that button immediately performs that task.

Each button has a picture to remind you of the function of that button's function. You can also move your mouse directly over a button, and after a second, the function of the button will appear. You can customize or add additional tool bars.

If you hold your mouse pointer over a button for a few seconds, a Screen Tip or button name appears below the button.

The most commonly used toolbar is the Standard toolbar.
This contains different buttons. When you click a button, Access performs a specific task.

This toolbar is locked into place, or docked, on the top edge of the Access screen. Floating toolbars are additional toolbars that appear automatically as needed. These are not locked into place. You can always rearrange the location and order of any toolbar.
